The process of removal of water or another solvent by evaporation from a solid, semi-solid mixture in a fluidized bed requires the use of proper bowl sieves. Sieve parameters like wire thickness, mesh counts & absolute aperture size are important in maintaining the proper pressure drop which is essential for efficient fluidization.
